Unleash: The Class I Was Afraid to Teach (Until Now)

✨ It’s here: more breath, more sound, more primal power—and no more holding back.

---

I had a whopdinger of a sadness move through me a few days ago.

It felt like it had been waiting lifetimes for me to stop resisting and let it have its moment.

It rose in my throat like a beast. Tightened so hard I thought my neck might turn to crystal and shatter into a million shards.

I was sitting across from my husband, holding his soft gaze, letting myself be seen.

I pressed one finger into the tightest part of my throat and let the energy move.

It gave black hole vibes, like it could’ve swallowed up a planet in an instant.

Because of his solid containment—and my own ability to surrender (both of which have been hard-earned through years of practice)—the squeeze let go within seconds and I felt 1,000 pounds lighter.

Then I thought about all the times I’ve expended so much of my life force keeping these energies down. Avoiding the heat. The shame. The stuckness. The wildness.

Avoiding the very sensations that were trying to free me.

---

🔥 So here it is: I’m done holding back.

Starting now, our Signature class has a theme: UNLEASH.

Not because it sounds cool. Because it’s what I’ve been afraid to teach. Until now.

This shift came through a medicine journey that cracked me open and showed me just how much I was still censoring myself.

I let go. It got loud. I got free, and I saw it clearly:

If I’m holding back… you will too. And that’s the opposite of what we’re here for.

We’re not here to move cute. We’re here to move like women who remember who the hell they are.

UNLEASH is about letting the erotic energy that’s been locked in our jaws and hips and hearts and bellies finally move.

It’s not about performing sexy. It’s about being free.

Rumi nailed it:

“Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion. Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames.”

---

The changes you can expect as our Signature class becomes UNLEASH:

  • We’ll bring fire into our breathwork and inject more repetitive, rhythmic movement—thrusts, bounces, and rocks—that mesmerize your nervous system into a trance-like downshift.

  • Your sound will come from a deeper place inside your body, from the part of you that doesn’t need permission—but has been waiting for it anyway.

  • We’ll tap your lioness, your huntress, your ache to surrender.

And the best part?

This won’t stay in the studio. You’ll bring it home to your partner. To your life. To the parts of you that’ve been whispering, “Can we be wild now?”

Want to really play? Come in costume.

If you sparkle a little when you imagine treating UNLEASH like an opportunity for sacred cosplay—do it. Play! Show up dressed as your inner Domme, seductress, or shadow self who’s been dying to be seen.

OR, if it makes you squirm to envision coming in sweats and no makeup, ride that growth edge instead.

You already know your work. Your body buzzes when you picture it. Go toward it.

---

It’s no wonder “somatic” (meaning of the body) is such a buzzword these days.

Doctors, healers, practitioners of all kinds from east to west are catching on:

Our issues really are in our tissues.

You can’t think or talk your way into healing. Not all the way.

Feel it to heal it is a real phenomenon.

I wrote this once—but keep living it over and over:

“I thought if I could just learn more, understand more, and get to the root of things, I could fix everything. But it wasn’t my mind or even my marriage that needed fixing. It was my body that needed permission to feel.”

---

The truth about somatics (and your earthquake self)

This work will shake you. It will feel destabilizing at times. It’s supposed to.

We are not meant to stay one version of ourselves forever. My husband has known at least 4-5 different me’s over the course of our 23-year relationship.

We are meant to evolve… to break, release, and re-form.

When we don’t, the body sends signals:

Depression. Anxiety. Exhaustion. Numbness. Symptoms.

Not because we’re broken, but because we’re overdue for an internal earthquake.

Right now, I’m coming out of a contraction after a big expansion. I’m in a training that’s shaking me down to the bones. And I’m letting it move me.

Luckily I know by now—after every stretch comes a snap-back. After every expansion? CONTRACTION. That’s how the system recalibrates.

I see it in the women at Slow & Wild all the time and reassure them it’s proof they’re right on track.

---

Narratives, Schmaratives: Just ride out the storm.

In a contraction, your mind will want to narrate what’s happening, fix it, make it mean something.

Don’t fall for it.

Instead, just feed yourself a hearty meal. Lie down. Watch a rom-com. Take a nap. Let the storm pass.

Trust me, you’ll come out stronger and more sovereign on the other side, and you’ll be glad you didn’t make a huge decision or throw something important away in the middle of the storm.

Tuck that truth away somewhere close. If you’re like me, you’ll need it again.

---

A Nipply Reminder

The other night, during a private pole session, a student looked at me and said: “Sorry, you can see my nips. I didn’t wear pads today.”

And I said: “You mean, YOU’RE WELCOME?!” 😏

And we laughed a laugh of safety and sisterhood together, watching that old conditioning crumble.

For the women ready to stop holding back and stop apologizing—this is your playground.

If you’re done policing yourself (and other women you secretly envy), done keeping it cute… and ready to feel, not fix, then welcome home.

Slow & Wild exists for women who get that we need each other. We NEED to truly celebrate each other, our bodies, our sexuality, and our POWER unapologetically. Until we do, we’re doomed to keep looping the same old loops that get us NOWHERE but Symptom City.

I’ll be here, flawed but ready, showing up again and again to feel it all. To move my body with yours in this Permission Field.

You can count on that.

---

Whether you’re in a revival or a contraction… Whether you’re lit up or laying low…

You’re welcome here, exactly as you are. Nips, cheeks, bellies, growls, and all.

With love and wild permission,

💋 Kris (aka Venus)

P.S. We just started a brand new book inside Book Dommes—which means it’s the perfect time to join. This one is especially for the “pants-wearers” in the relationship who are ready to slip into something more comfortable and create the kind of intimacy and ease you may’ve never thought possible. I’m here to tell you: it’s possible. And it’s so worth it. Click the image above to learn more and apply.
